Welcome to Voz of Faith. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Voz of Faith mobile application and web application at app.vozoffaith.com (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Voz of Faith (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Summary: Voz of Faith is a faith-based spiritual and emotional wellness companion. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and is not a substitute for professional care. In crisis situations the app directs users to local emergency services or a country-appropriate crisis line.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of Service

Voz of Faith is an AI-powered, faith-based voice companion application. The Service provides real-time voice conversations with an AI companion grounded in Christian spiritual principles. The Service is:

  • A spiritual companion tool — not a substitute for church, pastoral care, or human community.
  • An AI-generated experience — responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate.
  • Non-denominational — it references Scripture and Christian principles broadly, without promoting any specific denomination.
  • Available in English and Spanish.

3. Important Disclaimers

Please read these disclaimers carefully:

  • Not medical advice: The Service does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
  • Not legal or financial advice: The Service does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
  • Not crisis intervention:While the Service includes information directing users to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, it is not a crisis intervention tool. If you are in crisis or danger, please call 988, 911, or your local emergency services immediately.
  • AI limitations: The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses. Do not rely on the Service for critical decisions about your health, safety, finances, or legal matters.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The Service offers a free tier that includes one voice conversation. No payment information is required for the free tier.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly and yearly basis. Subscriptions are processed and billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web payment system via RevenueCat.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.
  • Refunds: Refund requests for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by the respective platform in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly for app store purchases.
  • Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance of any price increase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or harmful.
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or usage limits.
  • Record, redistribute, or publicly share AI-generated voice responses from the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, software, and design — are owned by Voz of Faith or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

AI-generated conversation responses are provided for your personal use. You do not acquire any ownership rights in AI-generated content.

8. User Content

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your voice input is processed by our AI systems to generate responses. You retain ownership of your original voice input. You grant us a limited license to process your input solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your conversations. Voice audio and conversation transcripts are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including OpenAI (AI), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), Supabase (infrastructure), RevenueCat (payments), and PostHog (analytics). These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VOZ OF FAITH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voz of Faith and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app settings or by contacting us.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with arbitration conducted in Texas. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voz of Faith regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
